I've been listening to a lot of Sabbath lately, especially Master of Reality which recently has passed their first album as my favorite.

I also recently rediscovered Showbread's album No Sir, Nihilism Is Not Practical. Definitely and album that changed my ideas about music.

So good. There have been a few instances where I'm stuck in someone else's car with their [awful country] music for an extended period of time and as soon as I can, I purge my ears with this song haha.

Nahum - Prayer Of An Afflicted Sinner (Psalm 39)

Nahum is another band that seemed to just disappear into nonexistence... It's too bad because their one release (that I'm aware of: a split with Flaskavsae) was quite good.

The new Sáwol arrived from Finland yesterday and I'm listening to it now. Very good stuff! It continues in the vein of their previous single Time To Walk and untitled promo, for those familiar. For the most part, the lyrics aren't as explicitly Christian as some of their earlier stuff, though the album does maintain a Christian perspective IMO. I definitely recommend!

^That's a good'un for sure.

I've been listening to lots of Ikarian lately. The new album is due to be released soon! According to FB, it's a fair bit heavier and more akin to Mystical Dominion than James' other releases.
