Ha what a punk. I can't wait to hear it! Between this, a new album from The Arbiter, and OLTAS, it's looking like we're going to have some quality DOOOOOM in the Christian scene coming up soon.

Are you allowed to say what kind of doom it'll be? Doom/death, traditional, epic...?

News!  From Derek's FB:

I started a new Atmospheric Doom Metal project called Crowned in Sorrow. I've been busy recording and mixing the first song that will serve as a kickstart to the upcoming full length album. New music will be released on Friday! Here's a quick little teaser.

Despite being such a short teaser, it sounds fantastic and I'll be first in line to buy it once the album is released.

Okay, so I finally listened to the track "Eternity"  (excuse my tardiness) and I like it. It's not exactly what I expected, but I enjoyed the atmosphere on the song. My only criticism is I'm not sure if I like the clean vocal placement (this is probably more a matter of preference than anything).  I loved the black metal shrieks. Hopefully there will be more of that on the full-length. The guitar tone was good and there was just the right amount of crunch in those riffs. Nice juxtaposition of melody and heaviness.
