As someone who has enjoyed the likes of Megadeth and Metallica in the past, I'm curious about Christian thrash metal because I haven't really delved into it much. I've been listening to Absurd2's EP lately and it's a bit experimental but I like it a lot. I'm just interested in good Christian thrash metal (whether "normal" or experimental or technical or progressive or whatever). Any recommendations?

I don't listen to a whole lot of thrash... but here are a few recommendations:

Ritual Servant's debut album is mighty good!

Seventh Angel's first two albums are classic thrash albums in the scene.

I've heard stellar things of Detritus' two albums - both of which just recently got reissued.

Somewhere to start, anyways!

Some of the classic Christian thrash albums you should listen to:

Deliverance - Weapons of Our Warfare
Tourniquet - Stop the Bleeding
Believer - Extraction from Mortality
Living Sacrifice - Living Sacrifice
Vengeance Rising - Human Sacrifice
Mortification - Break the Curse
Sacrament - Haunts of Violence

Some other albums that are my favorites:

Extol - Synergy
Tourniquet - Psychosurgery
Tourniquet - Where Moth and Rust Destroy
Freakings - Toxic End
Deliverance - The Subversive Kind
Eternal Decision - Eternal Decision
Bride - Skin for Skin
Believer - Sanity Obscure
Believer - Transhuman
Living Sacrifice - Reborn
Vengeance Rising - Once Dead
Seventh Angel - Lament for the Weary
Ultimatum - Into the Pit
Divulgence - Future Seed

Enjoy!

I somehow forgot to mention Adorned Graves!  They're probably my favorite thrash band though they've got quite a bit of doom, death, and heavy elements in their music too.  If you're looking for straight-up thrash, you may want to keep looking.  However, their debut album was one of my top favorites from 2017.

Glad you enjoy it.  Believer is a band that is very interesting to follow through their long career.  If you like progressive music as well, then their later releases are worth checking out.

CW I recall you mentioning that you prefer to not listen to bands who were "Christian" but are no longer.  I think both Seventh Angel and Believer would fit into that category...  Just a FYI.
