I stumbled upon this project on Bandcamp and am really digging it. Daygraves plays emotive post-black metal with great atmosphere. It's a Christian project though I don't see lyrics anywhere. Anyways, check 'em out!

p.s. this Friday Bandcamp is waving fees so all money goes straight to the artists. So if you're gonna buy this or anything else on Bandcamp, I recommend waiting until Friday to do so!

This is actually quite good. I'm halfway through the album and I can hear some Agalloch influence, but the band makes it their own sound.

I was given the privilege of hearing the upcoming Daygraves EP before it is officially released this Friday and I gotta say, y'all are in for quite a treat! It's really fantastic. If you dig the previous material, you'll definitely love Imperishable. It continues in the style Daygraves is known for, but upon first listen anyways, it feels more expansive and diverse. The intense portions are heavier and the soft, post-rock moments are lighter. It's easily their [his] best work yet!

I'll have to check it out when I get more time this weekend, hopefully.
