Epta Astera

Epta Astera is a one-man project that mixes black metal, Gregorian chants, post-rock, and more into some really amazing music. Their second and third albums are available to download for free on their Bandcamp page. They've got a fourth album in the works and are looking for a label to release it physically which I am super stoked for. Also, they get bonus points in my book for being reformed. Man i haven't listened to this project in a while and really should again. When I was first introduced to it I didn't have as much of an appreciation for the history of the Reformation (and for Reformed theology itself) as I do now. I do wish that more bands would boldly stand for these gospel truths (and would like to see more doctrinallly-saturated lyrics in general) and I'm glad that Epta Astera has done so.

^I hear ya.  There really are not many such bands out there.  But I guess that's what makes bands like Epta Astera stand out all the more!
