One EP Wonders
There are a handful of bands I really like who unfortunately only ever made just one EP before disbanding (or who are still active but that's all they've released thus far, excluding maybe a demo or two). Below are some I can think of. What else belongs on this list?
Aspiration
progressive black metal
Dawn Of Anguish
epic doom metal
Dormant - Consolamentum
black metal
Gatekeeper's Sword
black metal
The Slave Eye
black metal
Scroll
black metal

Vaakevandring (of course!)
black metal
Vociferor
black metal
Funny, most everything on this list is black metal...

Ecthirion definitely belongs on this list. Their debut album has been delayed for almost a decade now (the EP was released in 2009). The last I heard was that preorders would hopefully be coming soon, but at this point I'll believe it when I see it. Which is a shame, because there really aren't many Christian symphonic or orchestral black metal bands.
Another one is the band O Wretched Man. They released an EP of blackened thrash/death metal with some prog influences that was very interesting. Last I remember, there is supposed to be a full length in the work.

I was never able to get into Ecthirion but I really like Eugen's project Far Beyond. He's also involved in Euphoreon whose albums I've been meaning to pick up too.
