Ikarian - Into The Haze

Gothic metal project by James Allin (Visionaire, Century Sleeper) has a new album coming out entitled Into The Haze and two songs have just been released! They sound great; check 'em out below. For those familiar with James' previous works, this album is going to be a bit heavier than the last, more akin to Mystical Dominion (the first Visionaire album) and featuring more death metal vocals again.





On a somewhat related note, I've been a fan of James' tunes for a long time now and only just a few years ago, I discovered that James and I used to live across the street from one another (though not at the same time). Small world!

I haven't thought about Century Sleeper in a while. I need to dig that one out of my collection and play it again.

Cool! IIRC Century Sleeper was my introduction to both My Silent Wake (plus Ian's other projects) and Visionaire/Ikarian. It's a very underrated album and a shame it wasn't ever more popular. I keep hoping those two will make another CS album though I'm not holding my breath haha.

And joining me for 3 songs on this album is Jordan Larae McClellan (seen below), who also does Opera singing and performances locally and worldwide. She has also done ongoing vocal recordings for World of Warcraft as well as Starcraft video games.

Anyone else get this yet? I've been really enjoying it a lot and listening to it pretty regularly. I highly recommend!
