I'm digging 'em so far! I'm not sure why it's taken me so long to discover Rob Rock... Shame on me! I look forward to picking up his other stuff in due time as well.
All of Rob Rock's albums are awesome! It took my a little while to collect them all, but it's well worth it.

Nice! How would you rank his solo albums?

Not an easy task, as they are all great. Probably something like this:
1. Garden of Chaos
2. Eyes of Eternity
3. Holy Hell
4. Rage of Creation
His work with Impelliterri is also worth checking out.

Cool, thanks! It's a pet peeve of mine to get into a new band and happen to get their best album. Then when I eventually pick up the rest of their catalog, they're all let-downs haha. I do look forward to getting his other albums and will have to check out Impelliterri too; I've heard great things of them as well.

I think a lot of people rank Holy Hell as his best. As for Impellitteri, it's not Christian per say. There's a lot of fantasy and a bit of horror themed stuff. But then since Rob Rock is the vocalist there are songs out of the blue like Jehovah that are very Christian. I own the most recent two albums, but I was having a hard time finding earlier albums for decent prices and I gave up for now.

Re: Latest Christian Metal Purchases
Ah dang, well I may have stumbled upon their best first after all! It sounds like all of RR's albums are pretty solid so the margins between "best" and "worst" are pretty small.
Impellitteri's discography is indeed pretty daunting, especially if many are difficult to find. There's been so much great new music coming out from bands I already like that I haven't felt much desire to search out new (to me) bands too. But maybe once things slow down a bit, I'll dig into Impellitteri's stuff.

Impressive haul!
How do you like Tophet? I never got that album but now with them reforming and making new tunes again... maybe I'll revisit them.
Yesterday I got in the mail:
Rob Rock - Eyes Of Eternity
Rob Rock - Garden Of Chaos
I gotta get Rage Of Creation next.

It's a decent album. The new single that the band released is probably their best yet. I'm definitely going to pick up that album when it comes out.

Re: Latest Christian Metal Purchases
These have come within in the last few weeks:
Adorned Graves - Being Towards a River (I finally decided to just order it from overseas. It came with a nice crack in the cover but at least it arrived).
Final Surrender - Empty Graves (freebie with an order)
Every Knee Shall Bow - Slayers of Eden (freebie with an order)
The Showdown - Backbreaker
Inhale Exhale - The Lost The Sick The Sacred
Inhale Exhale - Movement
This one should show up soon:
Inhale Exhale - Bury Me Alive
That will complete my The Showdown and Bury Me Alive collection, I believe.

Re: Latest Christian Metal Purchases
These came in this week:
Slave Wage - Heaven or Hell
Shadows of Paragon - Amendment
Elgibbor - The Roots of Blood (Reissue)
Elgibbor - Corruptus Vindicta
SorrowStorm - Epoch of Exile
Holy Blood - Day of Vengeance (Reissue)
Sacrificium - The Avowal of the Centurion
Adventunnum - Sophism
It is awesome that Vision of God is re-releasing a lot of older albums. It gives me a change to pick up things that I missed or that were out of print and hard to find.

How do you like the Sorrowstorm EP? The song they posted online didn't do much for me, though everything the main guy has written recently on FB or interviews is super spot-on IMO and makes me want to support him regardless.

I like it. It's not super technical or atmospheric, but it has a certain charm. I like some of the singing, that very deep voice kind of like on Antestor's album Martyrium. It's only 5 songs so it's more difficult to get a bearing on it. Certainly, it has a much better production quality than their other material.
Mangled Carpenter - Under the Shadow just came in today. It releases everywhere this Friday. I bought it from one of the band members after chatting with him through Facebook. From what I understand Vision of God will carry the album eventually as well, but the version I got has a foldout with lyrics and is self-released by the band. It's quite nice and has Bible verses next to each of the lyrics. I'm quite excited about this release as there isn't much Christian brutal/technical death metal out there. Listening now!

Right on! I may wait until the old material is re-released and make a Sorrowstorm binge-buy haha.
That's super cool about Mangled Carpenter. That's not really my style but yeah, there really isn't much in the Christian scene of that so it's good to hear of new quality bands rising up.

It's Bandcamp Friday! Which means however much you pay goes directly to the artists and not any of Bandcamp's woke agendas!
I bought: Virtue Of Decay - Only Now You Fear The Cold
https://virtueofdcay.bandcamp.com/album/only-now-you-fear-the-cold
(This is a new project from the main guy of Apostisy)
I also preordered Musk Ox's upcoming album. They're secular but clean (instrumental so very clean hahaha)

Re: Latest Christian Metal Purchases
These two came in today:
Hortor / Beereth - The Almighty God / Enthroned King (hand numbered 39/50)
Living Sacrifice - Living Sacrifice (2021 Reissue through Nordic Mission)
Just finishing up the last track on the LS album now. It's been a while since I've listened and I have to say that they did a great job on the 30th Anniversary edition. Definitely one of the best Christian thrash albums of all time. Part of me wonders what would have happened if they stayed with this style their entire career and never went into metalcore. But I guess we'll never know!

Oh dang, customer of the year for sure!
I was just cranking The Arbiter - My Messenger the other day. I love me some good doom/death. I intend on ordering that split of theirs with Memorium and Lucifer's Doom from VOGR soon.
What do you think of that Shamash EP? It seems to have flown under the radar for most but I heard some samples that sounded pretty good.

The Shamash EP is interesting. It's definitely different. I guess it would probably be classified as progressive metal with black metal and symphonic elements. I'll have to listen more to develop a better opinion of it.
